We carry a full range of general hardware and lumber products including fasteners, hand and power tools, plumbing and electrical supplies, keys, locks, chains, cleaning products, housewares, paint, doors, windows, blocks, and garden equipment. And if we don’t have it, we’ll help you find it.

Ace H&B Hardware was established in 1994 following the merger of two respected Barbadian businesses: The Tradesman’s Center, founded by Samuel Trotman, and Northern Lumber Company. Shortly afterward, H&B became the exclusive local distributor for ACE Hardware (USA).

This new venture was an instant success. Every person involved in the store, from management to the sales floor, had hands-on experience with hardware and real knowledge about the tools and materials customers needed. Our commitment to offering practical, informed advice earned us the title of "The Helpful Hardware" store in the eyes of our customers.

As the business grew, so did our relationship with ACE. Eventually, we were invited to invest in ACE International, a new initiative focused on global export markets. Recognizing the potential of this growing brand, Williams Industries Inc., a diversified group of Barbadian-owned companies, stepped in and invested in the business. This strengthened Ace H&B’s operational foundation and provided the resources needed for future growth.

With Williams Industries’ support, Ace H&B expanded its offerings, upgraded its infrastructure, and reinforced its mission to deliver quality products and service to customers across Barbados.

Our Warrens location is the heart of Ace H&B. Built by companies within the Williams Industries Group, it stands as a model of sustainable design and local innovation, featuring solar power, rainwater harvesting systems, backup power, and underground parking. It also houses one of the largest and most diverse lumber departments in Barbados, offering pressure-treated, hardwood, framing, and specialty lumber products. Whether you're building from the ground up or repairing a deck, our team is ready to help you choose the right cut, quantity, and quality for your needs.

Opened in January 2021, our Six Roads location was developed to better serve the southeastern parishes. Strategically located in the JB Simpson Complex, this full-service store has become a go-to destination for everything from power tools and plumbing to paint and hurricane supplies. Just like Warrens, you’ll find knowledgeable staff, wide product selection, and a welcoming shopping experience.

In July 2024, we welcomed the beloved Junction Hardware into the Ace H&B family, rebranding it as H&B Express at The Junction. Though smaller in size, this store delivers the same dependable service—ideal for quick visits, urgent repairs, or picking up essentials like garden supplies, tools, and paint. With Sunday hours and fast service, H&B Express brings the Ace experience to the north—convenient, helpful, and community-focused.

In 2019, we launched the Ace H&B e-commerce website, giving customers across Barbados access to our full range of tools, building supplies, and hardware essentials—anytime, anywhere. This move became even more valuable during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing a safe and convenient option to shop from home. Today, our webstore continues to extend the helpful service we’re known for into the digital space.

Ace H&B is proud to have strategic partnerships that extend our service to essential sectors across Barbados:

·  Big Gases Limited – As majority shareholder, Ace H&B supports Big Gases in supplying medical and industrial gases, oils, lubricants, and batteries to a wide range of industries.

·  Hothersal Trading Co. Ltd. – Owned by Ace H&B, Hothersal is a leading supplier of belts, bearings, and industrial fans, serving the needs of manufacturers, technicians, and facilities managers across the island.
